    What starts as an absurd Sunday afternoon adventure slowly descends into a bizarre expose on the impact on keeping up with the Jones. Burt Lancaster is unsettling. I was shaking my head at his strange appreciation of pools. There was something not right about ol' Ned. What starts off as offbeat, slowly unravels into a character study about selfishness and greed. Given it was made in 1968, it was well ahead of its time and well worth a visit as a touch point on the society we find ourselves living in today.

    Another Ittenbach gorefest. It's no better or worse then previous efforts but nowhere near as good as Premutos. It's on par with Garden of Love. Ittenbach is pretty consistent and at least what you see is what you get!     Another strong John Carpenter effort that was broadly overlooked at the time of release. It is certainly a film that gets better through the number of rewatches as more is revealed to the keen eye. There are some great musings on logic and belief whilst also attacking organised religion.
