This is my favourite Australian film by far. Downtrodden and depressing but eerily beautiful at the same time. The film was so in-your-face the Australian public could not handle the reflection of the Australian psyche this created. Brillantly scripted and dilligently executed on film, I believe it captures the real face of Australia, from an outsiders perspective. Great viewing. Highly recommended
