The Great Gatsby in some aspects is a mess. But what a grand and dazzling mess it is. It's a colorful escape from reality with gorgeous visuals and a booming soundtrack. You are indulged into this frantic lifestyle. Everything feels grander than life and everyone strives for enjoyment.

Althou the films suffers from depth due to Luhrmann's frantic direction where at times, visuals take over characters and dialogue. The style of Gatsby seems to take over as the main factor at points. While this is far from perfection its still a dizzy and enjoyable time with some grade A performances.

Cloud Atlas is a fascinating visual feast that will not be ever ones cup of tea. This is a huge movie with stories, characters and ideas so big its almost too much to take in. There are flaws in here and sometimes it can feel a bit messy. some tones won't completely fit well together. But from what I got out of it is something so bold and diverse with a complex story. It drew me in from the start and never let go.

Nothing special here at all. The lack of laughs in Identity theft are pretty suprising. It did have a couple humorous moments especially in the middle but this is a very lazy comedy that will mostly rely on violence and sappy moments to push the story. Bateman and Maccarthy work well together but they still dont really save the movie. It also overstays it's welcome with its length and becomes very predictable and sappy in the final act. A rental wouldn't kill you but Identity theft is nothing more but a passable and mediocre comedy.
