So I finally saw "The General" and I really liked it. Keaton really is a genius. Many of his comic choices seem to come out of nowhere and take you by surprise. Sudden bursts of violence, little bits of punctuation on things. The conclusion to this film has to have been some sort of influence on the chaos and carnage at the end of "The Blues Brothers"
