Pretty much what you would expect from a summer blockbuster: 2 hours of crisis after crisis, visual effects spectacle, fairly predictable plot, lots of fun. Before you dismiss it as so much popcorn fluff, I think there is a deeper aspect to this movie, as outlined in the following article [beware spoilers]:

Definitely enjoyable. I liked it better than the first. Worth seeing at the theatre (there are even some nice and subtle 3D effects too!)

Wayyyy better than I thought it would be. Some good cheese, but some really good action and on the whole some good fight choreography and camerawork.

I have never seen this film before.

The lines in it make me cringe.

The fake computer UIs look like a bad acid trip.

It is totally worth watching.

What an amazing, sweeping view of the transition from flight jock to astronaut. I really like the angle. The mixing of historical footage was done very well, considering the date of this film. Glenn's orbit would bring out the wonder of space from inside anyone.
