Personally I preferred this to the original, but then again I didn't think much of that film either. This latest remake just wasn't a sci-fi that I could easily find myself a part of. I liked the look of the futuristic, dystopian settings and some of the action scenes were fantastic, but it was a very forgettable film overall.
