Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 2007

Travis Lytle’s review:
Like its immediate predecessor, the third Pirates film is sprited, fun, and good looking. It also suffers from a script that is a mixed bag of pirate-adventure tropes strung together without a motivation-supplying core: a superficial exercise. However, a strong third act, punctuated by a rousingly great battle at sea, elevates the film altogether, making it more satisfying than "...Dead Man's Chest."
