Travis Lytle’s review:
Although "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" boasts a uniformly excellent cast turning in uniformly excellent performances, I could not connect with this slow-burning, deliberately paced tale of espionage in the 1960s. Despite the film's attributes, its period design, chilly-dusty cinematography and aforementioned cast, the entire and overall jejune affair left me drowsy.
I fell asleep. Not even Benedict Cumberbatch was motivation enough to stay awake. And that's saying something. Haha.
I feel like I should have appreciated the film more, but I just couzzzzz...
