Travis Lytle’s review published on Letterboxd :
The rough and tumble charms of Paul Verhoeven's "Total Recall" are many. The film, a violent science fiction mindbender, is bloody, thrilling, and fast-paced. It is perfectly cast and sharply edited. The film has a tactile texture brought to the screen both by practical effects and grittily executed locations. Its themes are clear and relevant, and its sense of humor is sly.
These elements combine for a great, exciting, and epic experience; and one that possesses it share of iconic moments. More than two decades after its original release, "Total Recall" stands as a giant of the genre.
