I know the first one was not anything special, but it was still entertaining. I thought the sequal was awful, I considered walking out of it. The fight scenes were weak and when a fight would start, the screen would go black except for the two fighting. Also had a lot of "music video" moments and Nick Cage just making weird faces, he just needs to go away for a while. Nothing like the first one.

I thought this was an excellent film and a good first choice for Daniel Ratcliff to try and shake the Harry Potter sterotype. This movie did a great job to establish suspense and had just enough effects to make it scary. To me it reminded me of The Others a little but with more special effects. Also the use of fog was top notch. Very creepy movie.

I have never read the books, but I really enjoyed this movie. I thought Rooney Mara stole the show, and did a really good job. I thought the landscape that is was set it was top notch and casting was done very well to make the flashback scenes work. It was a very good mystery movie with a few secondary story lines.
