Passable, if by the numbers crime film. Awesome theme song.

Country noir is given a new twist with snow and pine trees replacing empty high ways and barren wastes. And I'll be confounded if it doesn't work to perfection. The set-up at the ending may seem a bit contrived if examined objectively but I was completely sold.

My favorite real time flick. The best boxing movie in my opinion and one of Robert Ryan's best performances if not the best. One of my most rewatchable films of all time.
