The first part of the two part finale ultimately disappoints and becomes one big set up. With a book which is similar size to the first two just proves it I didn't need to be split over two parts. Many scenes felt stretched, almost like they were trying to force two films out of it.
The film was an ambitious achievement but could have done being half an hour shorter. For a while I thought this was going to be a 3 star film but I started to enjoy it more as it got further in to the film.
Has an impressive cast with another great performance by Matthew McConaughey, who would have thought that ten years ago he was making rubbish films like failure to launch he truly has turned his career round.
