Chris Shipman’s review published on Letterboxd :
Looper doesn't seem to know if it wants to be a cerebral thriller, gun-toting action film or spooky-kid horror, instead opting to sit on the cinematic genre fence and becoming a triptych offering up each in succession. That isn't to say the film isn't enjoyable - both Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt give good performances (though the usually excellent Paul Dano is underused) and the direction is solid. But, sci-fi film of the last decade as per publicity machine press quotes? I think not.
