Eddie: The Sleepwalking Cannibal 2013
Too much sleepwalking, not enough cannibalism, but this is still a surprisingly well made horror comedy. Stephen McHattie is great in a small role as a slimy art agent.

Chronicle 2012
A pretty good film but it would have been more effective if the filmmakers had abandoned the found footage aspect. It added nothing to the film and actually served to distance me from the characters since my mind was constantly on who was handling (or at least manipulating) the camera. I also found the central character to be something of a jerk from the very beginning, limiting the empathy I had for him.

The Cabin in the Woods 2012
Great film. I'm not going to say anything about the plot because the less you know going in the more fun you'll have. Horror fans are going to have a blast with this movie. It's a beautifully written and directed film that winds up being an homage to just about every horror film ever made. If that sounds appealing to you then just go see it, but try and avoid the trailers which gave away way too much.
