List by Matt "Cinebro" Conti Pro
Upcoming Films I'm Anticipating
With the major portion of the first half of the year pretty much over, I'd like to go over upcoming films that I either can't wait to see, or am slightly interested in.

Heh, and here I was making my list of what I'm looking forward to only to see you've beaten me to it!
Anyways, I myself am looking forward to majority of these films with Pacific Rim, Cosmopolis, Seven Psychopaths, and Skyfall being my most anticipated. I still have my reservations about Django Unchained, and I'll probably pas on Hotel Transylvania, but everything else is looking great.
Cinebro awesome list!!!
I'am really looking forward for Looper and Behind the black rainbow..
Jack Fuckin' Reacher. And that is all.
Will be SO happy to tick some of these off!!! How about Dredd, the trailer looks amusing!
Total Recall?
@Jake
I too have reservations about Django, but a Tarantino film is always a must see for me. As for Hotel Transylvania, I wouldn't be interested if Genndy Tartakovsky wasn't involved.
@Javier
Same. Although Black Rainbow already came out as far as I'm aware.
@John
I'm actually digging the look. Plus, that comic con trailer looked amazing. Hoping Snyder can pull off a substance filled Superman film. Although, he already failed me with Watchmen, which I still haven't forgiven him for.
@Daryl
I'm interested but not highly interested.
@MurrayW
That should be on my list. I heard a lot of good things from people who saw it already.
@Nathan
Er... Yes and No. I'm more interested in it than other people, but I still think it's somewhat unnecessary. Still, I'm interested to see if a Total Recall film with modern aesthetics would work or not because that's kind of the whole idea.
I thought I was the only one excited for Amour until now.
Well duh. Who do you think made this list?
Have you heard of Holy Motors yet? It popped up on my radar after hearing the reviews from Cannes. Seems pretty interesting.
I actually have. There are plenty of films that aren't on here simply because I forgot about them, and I could still be anticipating them. Most of this was stuff I found on the "2012 in film" page on wikipedia that caught my eye. There's bound to be multiple films missing.
I am looking forward to Lawless! The trailer looks great, apart from Shia Labeouf though.
@Cinebro Cosmopolis is great, a proper brain-teaser if you're wondering. :)
I've heard many good things. I've also heard some bad things. Either way, I'll approach with a clear and open mind like I do with every film.
Well, it depends on your taste. How's your tolerance for slowness?
@DriveFiction19
Slow pace does not and never will bother me. I've always said that if it's interesting enough, then I won't care. A film only bores me if I don't care about what's happening, and usually by then even a film that is briskly paced (like Transformers) will still feel like an endurance test. Many of my favorite films tend to be paced slower because they let the many elements of the film sink in.
So my enjoyment of Cosmopolis will be dependent upon whether I find it interesting. I love Cronenberg, who to me has never made a dull film (I have not seen A Dangerous Method yet though), so I doubt Cosmopolis will be boring for me.
@AdamMcA
It would make it easier for me if I really knew about EVERYTHING that was coming out, because I guarantee this list does not even scratch the surface of stuff I'm looking forward to.
@Cinebro Well, Cosmopolis is DENSE, so it's interesting in the way that it's slow and multi-layered. So it might take a few watches to even scratch the surface of what it's talking about. :/
