A really lovely romantic comedy grounded in reality.
We meet Duncan at what seems to be the low point of his life at the beginning of the film. As he narrates a brief synopsis of how he got there, we get whisked back to the start of his recent endeavours in love. Starting with perhaps the first girl to really break his heart, Duncan's story is told from an endearing and balanced perspective, mixing comedy, whimsy, and stark reality. The mood is exactly what I hope for in a romantic comedy--not laden with cheese, but not too dark, either.
Good third date film :)
