The Bride of Frankenstein 1935 ★★★★★

"Me made from Dead. I love Dead...hate living." Great homosexual twist on the story of Genesis. The only genuine and good relationship in the film is between two men, Frankenstein and blind Gandolph in the woods. Frankenstein and his creator both feel the pressures to conform. The creator tries by marrying and giving up his scientific pursuits with dead bodies. Frankenstein finds a man to live with in the woods. He's not safe though. The village people smoke him out and he decides to find himself a wife. That doesn't work either. "I love Dead...hate living."
