  • Without a Clue 1988

    ★★★ Rewatched 27 Jan, 2012

Given the proliferation of Sherlock Holmes recently, Without a Clue is a fun take on the classic characters, where Holmes is an idiot and Watson is the genius behind the duo. It's a ton of fun and they don't take it seriously and actually present it as a farse, but with such well trained actors the piece comes alive. It's a ton of fun and as long as you can take your Holmes slightly irreverent, a great watch.

    ★★★★½ Watched 20 Dec, 2011

A great sequel to the first of the first Robert Downey, Jr. Sherlock series. Guy Ritchie, again, captures the heart of Sherlock in a way that is fresh, but at the same time classic. Set slightly darker than it's predecessor, A Game of Shadows is wildly fun, but also full of drama and suspense. Fantastic film, thoroughly enjoyed myself!

  • High Fidelity 2000

    ★★★★★ Rewatched 18 Dec, 2011

One of my top five films of all time. It's the story of a man who breaks up with his longtime girlfriend. He's stuck with the desire to track down four other ex's that rejected him to find out why he always get's dumped. In the process he finds what he's really searching for and it wasn't what he thought it was.

On of John Cusack's best performances. Amazingly relatable, High Fidelity is a must-see for anyone who has ever broken up, so everyone.

Entertaining animated film. It's a nice visual departure for Disney. Has a definite Mike Mignola feel to it.
