There’s probably a decent 90 minute action film in there somewhere. Unfortunately what we get instead is a bloated film that takes itself rather too seriously at times. The Rock is, as ever, a fun and magnetic presence and really helps elevate the film whenever he appears, but even he can’t do all the heavy lifting required to raise this above being distinctly average.
