Kill Bill: Vol. 1 2003
Reviewed May 15, 2012
Colin Chapman’s review:
It's not nearly as good as its profoundly moving sequel, but Kill Bill Volume 1 is fast-paced, cleverly written fun. It's a thrilling introduction to the iconic character of The Bride, as well as a showcase of Tarantino's ability to make a film that's fun from the first frame to the very last. Uma Thurman's performance is solid, and the film is a nice setup to its sequel.
