Stylish debut! I now see Tony Scott acclimated his editing style from the get-go. It's edited like a seasoned master. The cast is full of pros. The atmosphere is chilling. The color scheme looks gorgeous. It's sexy as hell and the blood use is very effective. The story though... a little muddled and confusing, yet rightfully simple. I was very surprised at how well many aspects of this hold up, and it'd work marvelously as a double-bill with the other Scott brother's debut, The Duellists, also very haunting and assured with it's editing.
