Corey Pierce’s review:
90 minutes of drool-inducing fantasy for single dads with a chip on their shoulder. I thought it was merely okay the first time, but on rewatch its growing reputation as a modern action classic is starting to make more sense. Neeson is badass in it, both legitimately and hilariously so, and it's kinetic in the way other modern actions films can only achieve through an overabundance of gimmick and/or style. Bring on the ridiculous unnecessary sequel.
