Corey Phillips’s review:
First Class is without a doubt the best iteration of Fox's interpretation of the X-Men franchise, with excellent acting, a believable plot, and a fair amount of screen time for the characters that needed it. It loses a little bit of clout for the uselessness of Azazel and the subpar makeup for Beast.
Also, what the heck is Havok doing in the 60s!?
