I watched the extended edition which is about 20 minutes longer. Extended edition has the 4 stories separated by credits after each segment, plus 7 minutes of extra footage. I've now seen all of Coens' films. Though it isn't one of their favourites, we can experience a very real story. Apparently the brothers made this after battling with writer's block themselves. I am very happy that the Academy recognized Michael Lerner who played a humorous studio boss. Coens create the best (side) characters.
