  • Liberal Arts 2012

    ★★★½ Added

Written, directed and starring Josh Radnor, the film is about a college administrations officer who goes back to his alma mater and falls for a 19 year old student. Completely believable due to the incredibly strong performances (including a fantastic Zac Efron - whodathunkit?). What could have been really skeevy is given a lot of heart due to the smart and sympathetic screenplay.

  • Screaming in High Heels: The Rise & Fall of the Scream Queen Era 2011

    ★★★ Added

As a young man, I watched a ton of films starring Michelle Bauer, Brinke Stevens and Linnea Quigley. This documentary recalls the heyday of those films that they were in, and shows us how they became "stars." As much of a look at the rise and fall of the VHS era as it is a look at these three actresses, it probably works best if you have some sort of knowledge about any of their films.

  • Goldfinger 1964

    ★★★★ Added 1

Goldfinger introduces us to the bad guy's unbeatable henchman until he meets Bond. Nonstop action and a great finale make this one worth watching.

  • Assault on Precinct 13 1976

    ★★★½ Added

Assault on Precinct 13 notches up another great picture for director John Carpenter. The basic story is a group of gun-toting punks attack a deserted police station to get at the guy who killed their leader and the developing relationship between policeman and prisoner.
