Courtney Small’s review:
The Thin Blue Line is a fascinating documentary that shows how a brief encounter between two strangers has lasting ramifications. Morris does a good job showing how the police were so determined to catch a killer that they did everything in their power to turn an innocent man into one. I like Morris later film, Standard Operating Procedure, slightly more than this but I would still highly recommend The Thin Blue Line nonetheless.
