Christian Sinclair’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a film i'd been meaning to watch for a while as it's a quirky premise and i tend to have faith in Damon and Johansson.
It's odd in the sense that it's incredibly predictable and some moments are a bit cheesy but overall it's still entertaining and it's not a bad movie.
One note to make is that most of the cheesy moments seem to be at points where an epic song from Jonsi or his band Sigur Ros comes in and is far more dramatic than what's actually on screen making it feel a bit over the top. Like I say though, it's a very easy to watch, likeable movie
