Feels in many ways like a precursor to YOUNG ADULT - the pretty, vain self obsessed protagonist, the nice guy she's pursuing, his equally nice girlfriend, the similarly horrible guy she confides in and eventually falls for, the awkward, enabling fangirl... seriously, it's kinda scary. This isn't as good, however, as it feels a need to take the most generic route possible. Still, its fun, and generally likeable.
