Steven Soderbergh does this thing where he'll make perfectly acceptable, fun and well made genre flicks that have a great movie in their DNA. And that great movie will keep rearing its head just enough to make you constantly be thinking of how good it could have been.
This is a slick, fun, maybe all style no substance but still good flick that could have been the natural midpoint between Jackie Brown and Ocean's 11. And the moments that end up feeling like they came from this alternate film are so good (the sex scene in particular) that they make the rest of the film weaker in comparison,
