Cole Bradley’s review:
Contains many of the stylistic pacing elements that would define Ti West's later films, but with worse acting and weaker writing. Without the compelling characters and plot of a film like House of the Devil, the deliberate pacing leads to a flat and boring tone, rather than the unbearable suspense he would later perfect. Worth seeing for fans to see how he would develop, but not that good beyond that.
