Da_Bill’s review:
This is one of my favourite books and favourite films. Despite a move from London to Chicago and the related changes that go with that, at the core it is the same. The characters are as I pictured them, when I reread the book now it's John Cusack's voice I hear narrating. Even the lists, a key theme of the book, are not forgotten (as I'd feared) but are scattered brilliantly throughout as very real conversations (many of which I've had with my own friends and colleagues).
I honestly think this film is a perfect adaptation.
