Damiano Dentice’s review:
What an amazing documentary. This is a wonderfully insightful film into the life of one of the world's finest chefs. A succinct capture of a true artist and every little nuance he places in each dish. The film chooses to mainly remained focus on Jiro and the workings of his resturant. Barely touching on his private life, besides a bit of back story and trip to his hometown, they don't even interview his wife for the film. It's great when a director has a clear vision for his film.
