I do not agree with what many of the critics are saying in regards to this film "exploiting" September 11th. I was in the fourth grade when the attacks happened. Since then, I have viewed my life in two chapters. Pre 9/11 and post 9/11. That day, the innocence of the world was gone and I was forced to grow up fast. This film is a wonderful look inside of the mind of a young boy who sees the world so harmoniously and after "the worst day" is suddenly forced to grow up and take in all of the brokenness.
