This a great movie about a father's role in a family and a mans role in society. The ever wonderful Mike Shannon is Curtis a good man, hard working father and loving husband, he begins to be haunted by vivid and disturbing dreams the affect his reality. Is he mad or is he right about the apocalyptic warnings he is receiving? Before you say Mothman prophecies or the Shining it is important to realize that this is a family drama and not some tense nail biting doom laden thriller. It paints a picture of a good family coming to pieces due to the strains and pressures put upon it by everyday lif. Sounds dull you say? You may think but various dream sequences add some dramatic tension and Shannon is a fantastic everyman. You get hooked and really like him immediatley and as the film becomes more and more focused in the real drama so you are more and more focused on the damage done to the family unit and hoping that come the end everything will be ok. Is it? Well that would be telling but I will say things in life rarely go right but its important that we keep trying. A very good film. Highly recommended.
