I’m a sucker for a high concept indie film, and it didn’t hurt that this film starred Emma Caulfield (Anya from Buffy the Vampire Slayer). This is a cute romantic comedy with a slight sci-fi element and some clever dialog. Not all of the acting is amazing, and maybe with a bit more money behind it, it could have looked a little better. Even if some of the film was a bit predictable, I did appreciate that the script wasn’t too afraid to go places you wouldn’t expect it to at points. I think I’m interested in seeing more from Jac Schaeffer in the future.
