"Bonkers" is really the only word that I think accurately describes the Yakuza fever dreams that mastermind Seijun Suzuki creates. I'm partial to Tokyo Drifter over Branded to Kill, but it's always a delight to see what kind of strange shenanigans Suzuki is going to throw our way. As usual, the set design is amazing and the editing is unpredictable. If you're a fan of kinky danger and violent sensuality, then Branded to Kill is the movie for you.
