I can't believe it's taken me this long to watch this film. So many people have recommended it. I can see why. It looks gorgeous, the soundtrack is fantastic and the story is simple but thoughtprovoking. I like the fact that it doesn't try to be too clever or put in convoluted plot twists. I also expected it to be quite slow, as anime films often are at the start, but I thought it jumped pretty much immediately into the action and kept me riveted all the way through.
