This movie was particularly disturbing to me mainly because the environment in which it took place was so familiar to me. I live in Denmark, I frequent the same supermarket chain, I either own the same IKEA furniture or know someone who does, I walk past similar houses constantly, I am familiar with the language, the country, and the culture. That's what made Jagten such an unsettling film.
