Brave is a wonderful family film that doesn't pander to kids or adults.

This has the potential to be one of those defining child movies for kids of today, who in 20 or so years will look back on it as one of the first films that they truly loved, that moved them, made them laugh and scared them in equal measure.

To argue about whether this is a Pixar or Disney film is so irrelevant because either way you come down it doesn't change the actual film you just watched. It's not like if you decide it is a Pixar film it magically becomes worse, or vice versa. Besides, Pixar aren't that great and Disney aren't that bad. Either way, it is unfair to judge a film based on your expectations of what kind of film the studio should be making.

Still… not as good as The Incredibles.
