Walter Hill a great director and this is a great film. In relation to a film it inspired, Drive, I liked how this film focused much more heavily on the cat and mouse game between Bruce Dern's cop and Ryan O'Neill's driver. I also liked that this wasn't steeped in '80s style, but rather drew inspiration from films such as Melville's Le Samouraï.
