Having read the synopsis and forming any sort of expectations from that, this film took a really long time to actually get going, and once it did it wasn't as much of a road film as I was hoping. Of course this is not a fault of the film, but this fact coupled with the very obtrusive constantly sweeping camera and in-your-face style caught me off guard.
I enjoyed it most when it was a road movie (David Byrne was spectacular and probably reason enough for me to recommend this) but felt the style really got in the way of character and story - in certain parts more than others.
Although I didn't exactly love it, it has stayed with me and had me itching to see it again.
