Controversial Opinions

Comment with your own controversial opinions and I'll add them to the list. The first few films are me, then I'm leaving it open to everyone (I'll add your name to your entry).
Arguments and infighting not only allowed but encouraged.

  • I'm with you on Braveheart, but I did enjoy Reservoir Dogs. I think the style carried me through much of the film (as usual with Tarantino) but I can definitely see where you're coming from.

  • A lot of these controversial opinions don't seem very controversial. Haha. Not liking Twilight? Really? I'll try, but I might end up being non-controversial as well.

Straw Dogs (the original) was a terrible movie. It was poorly paced and the dialogue was too sparse, and that isn't even getting to how incredibly misogynistic the whole thing was.

I didn't think Cabin Fever 2 was an awful movie. Before it was released the (very talented) director came out saying he wanted his name off it. I think if you ignore the fact that a very talented man got screwed over by executives (what else is new?) it is one of the better straight-to-dvd horror movies in a long time.

Last but not least, I think 10 Things I Hate About You was a legitimately good movie.

  • No no, check out list view. Twilight is there because I really like Robert Pattinson and think he's a genuinely good actor. Seeing as I am a 21 year old male and not a teen girl, it's a little controversial.

  • I think these may already be on the list, but in my opinion Superman I & II (which I am convinced are actually one film split in half for retards), are possibly the worst films ever made. Every 5 years or so I manage to convince myself that I'm wrong and that I should give them another go, and after I do, I feel like stapling my genitalia to a board like Bob Flannigan as punishment for doubting myself AND to help me forget the shit I just wasted part of life watching.

  • Dear God man, why? I love Superman The Movie. The second is ok and the third is awesome (the fourth sucks).

  • I totally agree that Michelangelo Antonioni is a complete BORE!
I don't know if it's on the list, I didn't go through it entirely but I think that Tim Burton's Batman films are the superior Batman films. Let the death threats commence.

  • I also think Keaton is the superior Batman/Wayne...By FAR.
Even the suit looks better, I even prefer the gadgets and the batcave and Alfred (Can't remember the actors name). I also think Burton's Batman stands up still. I think the latest trilogy is over-rated, though I enjoyed them, they are no 'masterpieces' as I hear people throwing around nonchalantly.

  • Oh, and I too think Cliffhanger is AWESOME. I saw it at the cinema 3 times and
