Yes, I know that film, I was about to list Adrzej Zulawski's Possession in it,but I think I already had an Adjani film here,I did not expect he made this kind of films twice.
Oh,I did not enjoy L'important C'est D'aimer when I watched it,maybe I need another viewing
I find it terribly hard to get into any Zulawski film. The only one I really cared for at all are La Femme Publique and Third Part of the Night. Could barely last through Szamanka, Possession and On the Silver Globe. A film that I find to fit into that obsessive love category is Chereau's Intimacy.
Yes,his film is very tough to grab,at least the ones I watched are so.I think all cult films have this kind of quality,they are just not for everyone.
But Third Part of the Night is so good though. I just don't get it.
Nice list. Sadly, or perhaps it's good in a way, I have not seen many of these. The comments at the top regarding Betty Blue have me very intrigued. I don't know if it fits neatly here, but a film along these lines that has stayed with me is Claude Chabrol's La Femme Infidel. Thanks for being my first follower as well, it's nice to be welcomed here
I haven't seen the Chabrol film you mentioned,but guessing from his story style,it should fit in here.
That Chabrol film is excellent.
I have heard of it before,I will watch it when I have the chance.
