Lost Highway 1997
Challenging noirish nightmare always feels like it's on the verge of making sense. Robert Blake is unforgettable in a brief role, and Bill Pullman, Patricia Arquette and Balthazar Getty are all excellent. Not for everyone, but you probably knew that.

Definitive film noir from the novel Farewell My Lovely by Raymond Chandler. Dick Powell is surprisingly effective as Philip Marlowe, and the twisting turning plot keeps you on your toes.
