All in all there's not too much wrong with Woman in Black, but it does inevitably fall into to horror tropes that are pretty commonly used. I wish it explored the mythology the film created a little more. I will say that relies a little too much on jump scares early in the film, instead of building the tension with atmosphere, of which this film has tons of. One thing that this film really nails on the head is the atmosphere. The look and the overall feel of the cursed house and nearby town is fantastic.
Blade Runner is one of those movies that is a sacrilege if you haven't seen it. Why? I'm not entirely sure. Sure, Ridley Scott's hyper- saturated view of the future is interesting visually, but by no means is this anywhere near as good looking of a movie as Alien or Gladiator. Harrison Ford is good, but not even close the more iconic roles he plays in the Star Wars or Indiana Jones series.
