Inglourious Basterds 2009
Tarantino's seventh mash up of a million movies he's seen is a very well made film, that is very, very enjoyable but does not lend itself as well to rewatching. The tension just doesn't work as well when you know what's coming. Great performances throughout, and very good filmmaking throughout. It's not as good as his first three movies though, and not as enjoyable as the Kill Bill movies to watch. Still good though.

X-Men: First Class 2011
This was better than I could have anticipated. I don't like the original trilogy at all, but I can safely say this is MUCH better than any of the other films in the series. It of course helps that Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are the leads. And the supporting players are quite good as well, and Kevin Bacon (haven't seen him in anything for a while) is great as the villain. This is no cinematic masterpiece, but as far as X-Men movies go, this is a tough act to follow.
