John Hawkes turns in a wonderful performance in this often looked over work of cinematic... it's not that good. And the synopsis is misleading. The Scarecrow looks comical, but for being so unknown, the effects aren't terrible. Some are actually impressive. The leads are bland and forgettable. This would pass as a decent Sy-Fy Original.
