Yes, it's a dumb horror film that lacks uniqueness and creativity. In this case I don't care. It's all I want from a horror film remake. If I want something else I watch the original. I liked the painfulness and the sound effects.

Well acted and still impressive.

I always wanted to see a fight Steven Seagal vs. Patrick Swayze. "Mullet beats pony tail!" It makes a lot of fun but I have to watch it again to get more out of it and maybe correct my rating. It's really a hit or miss. Maybe on second viewing it's more miss but I liked it a lot the first time.

I'm no fan of found footage and this movie does not change my opinion. Too much jiggle but too little quality.
