Yes it has plot holes, how did the egg get on the ship and the CGI was abysmal, but I enjoyed it.

I liked the prison setting and some of the inmates.

I didn't like the quick deaths of Newt and Hicks, and Charles Dance gets a back story that is quickly forgotten about.

But in the end a fairly enjoyable if not great sequel.
