Tries hard for a message, but is quite predictable. Strong cast, with a thin story.

Decent action flick with WWE Superstar The Miz as his first lead role. I think he did good. Decent acting around the lead role too. Did find the bad guy's motive a bit fishy.

Film naar me hart! Me helemaal de tering zitten te lopen te lachen. Hoe Rotterdamser kan je het krijgen. Oh ja, en de poef in de garage hadden mijn ouders ook vroeger.

John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe? Hmm, distracting to say the least. Brendan Gleeson was convincing. Art direction for this film is nicely detailed, liked the costumes and the sets.

They don't make them like they used too ;-) ... Still love this movie from 19 years go. Intrigue, drama, mystery, romance, it's all there. Sometimes in a cheesy way of course but still exciting at times. Would be nice to watch this and segway right into 'The Pelican Brief'.

If you loved Django, you will love this too. Bloody over the top fight scenes, unrealistic flying and hovering (!). Overall enjoyable with MMA star Cung Le and WWE Superstar Batista.

Absolutely intense moments as the plane goes down at the beginning of the movie, it's like you're there in person. After that you think the movie takes a small dive at times but gets right up with some unexpected events. Very well acted by Denzel Washington. Although this flick is categorized as drama it still has a 'happy' end in my opinion.

Do not watch this before you go to bed! It's a scary movie ... Daniel Radcliffe is a good actor, he let's you forget Harry Potter and takes you with him to England's past. I jumped up a bit from several scenes, it is pretty scary at times. The music is chilling, the setting in and outside of the house is very creepy & the scares again are effective. I'd say it makes a perfectly romantic horror flick!

Modern take on the ancient fairytale. Of course we know the ending therefore no surprises.
